Jukwa SHS students embark on massive clean-up

Denkyira Jukwa (C/R), GNA – The Jukwa Senior High School Scripture Union students, on Wednesday undertook a two-hour clean-up exercise at the Jukwa Health Centre and the township to mark the Union’s 10th anniversary celebration. The celebration, which coincided with the school Leavers Day, saw more than 50 members of the union scrubbed the floors and rooms of the health facility, cleared the surroundings and de-silted choked gutters in the town.

Mr Kofi Ribeiro, Assistant Headmaster of the Mfantsipim Senior High School, advised the students to lead exemplary lives and strive to excel in their various fields of endeavour as well as become good ambassadors of the union. Ms Regina Ammam, headmistress of the Jukwa SHS also urged the students to be law abiding and use the knowledge acquired at the school for the benefit of mankind. Mr Ribeiro, later, dedicated musical instruments worth GH¢200 donated by Mr Etse Seake Kwaku, Assistant Headmaster of the Jukwa SHS and Patron of the Union.
