‘Juju’ hits Ekumfi

Information reaching Daily Guide on Monday indicates that fear and panic has gripped the people of Ekumfi Abor in the Ekumfi District of the Central Region following the discovery of ‘Juju’ at the junction of the town.

The retrieval of the ‘Juju’ has generated a lot of controversies at the place since people have been wondering who the ‘juju’ was meant to kill or destroy in the area.

In an interview with the chief of the area, Nana Amoasie IV, he said the incident happened around 10:30 a.m. when they found a small stool wrapped with red and white cloth, candles, lavender, among others, at the main junction of the town.

He noted that the ‘juju’ also had some inscription written on it as well as money in it.

Nana Amoasie added that some residents claimed they spotted some people in an unknown private car in the area during the early hours of Monday with a girl about the age of eight years dropping the juju.

He stated that the girl later joined the car while the driver sped off.

None of the people in that area was able to recall the car’s registration number, a situation which had made it difficult for the people to trace the people who did that.
