Court sittings and the operations of other agencies under the Judicial Service will soon grind to a halt, Starr News understands.
The Judicial Service staff are threatening to strike over unpaid allowances and poor conditions of service.
The JUSAG members say several petitions to the government over their concerns have fallen on deaf ears.
The interim chairman of JUSAG Francis Abrakwa has told Starr News the government can no longer take them for granted.
“In an institution where there is no condition of service; where promotions are not forthcoming; where salaries are nothing to write home about… and we are putting in much effort but we are not being recognized by way of enhanced salary. My people are developing zero tolerance for patience,” Abrakwa told Starr News.
But the Chief Justice Georgina Wood is asking the Judicial Service staff to exercise restraint.
“Members of staff that have upgraded themselves through further studies will be fully recognized and rewarded. Again, we can no longer work like we used to. It cannot be a matter of ‘I have been here for long’.”
