Judicial Service organizes workshop on HIV/AIDS

Sunyani Sept. 9, GNA- The Judicial Service in Brong Ahafo on Thursday held a workshop in Sunyani for court registrars to enable them to assist in the campaign against the spread of HIV/AIDS.

Mr Justice D.H. Debrah of the Sunyani Circuit Court, welcoming the participants explained that the workshop, initiated by the Chief Justice, Mr Justice George Acquah, was to enable the participants to acquire knowledge and help in the spread of the pandemic.

He stressed that government efforts alone could not curb the disease and that there was the need to involve other stakeholders including personnel of the Judicial Service.

Mr Justice Debrah admonished the participants to use the knowledge they would acquire to help bring about positive change in the attitude and behaviour of people in their communities.
