Jubilation in Ofoase Ayirebi as MP launches scholarship scheme

Natives of the Ofoase Ayirebi Constituency in the Eastern Region could not hold their joy when their Member of Parliament (MP), Kojo Oppong Nkrumah launched an educational and skills development fund to support brilliant but needy students and artisans in the Constituency.

200 students from SHS 2 and 3, University, Nursing and Teacher Training became the first batch to benefit from the scholarship.

Parents and beneficiaries took to the dance floor dancing to Nacee’s ‘Boys Boys’ to display how thrilled they are to be receiving such support from the MP.

Kojo Oppong Nkrumah himself could not sit still but joined his jubilant constituents on the dance floor.

The MP urged beneficiaries to continue putting in their best in school to make their parents, himself and the entire community proud.
