Jubilate over release of Montie 3 – Minister to NPP

The Ashanti Regional Minister Mr. John Alexander Ackon, is wondering why members of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) are not in jubilant mood with claims that the remission of the Montie 3 will cost President Mahama at the December polls.

“They should go out jubilating if they think so…..why are they not jubilating because it is an automatic win for them at the polls”, he quizzed on Abusua Nkomo.

He observed the NPP is seriously grieving over the matter, yet claim that it will affect the fortunes of President Mahama at the December polls. “He is their direct opponent so what will affect him is to your advantage. NPP should be jubilating about it instead if they feel so”, he stated.

He however insisted that President Mahama’s has a solidified opportunity of being mandated a second term regardless of the negative propaganda being embarked on by the opposition NPP to run him down to their advantage.

“I have always maintained the judgment for the trio was harsh and wish something could be done about it. Thankfully, the president has granted them remission considering how remorseful they have been but NPP still has a problem”, he indicated.
