Jubilant supporters of NDC celebrate victory at Tarkwa

Tarkwa (WR) Jan. 5, GNA – Jubilant supporters of National Democratic Congress (NDC) at Tarkwa displayed a big banner with the photograph of President-elect Professor John Evans Atta Mills to celebrate its victory in Election 2008.

They went on a procession with brass band music through some principal streets of the town and created traffic jam, while some passengers made the “Yeresesa mu” sign to express their support and joy.

However, some supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) were quite watching the jubilant NDC supporters. Some people who talked to GNA said “the NDC has a Herculean task and promises to fulfil during its tenure of office.” 05 Jan. 09
