Joy Industries donates towards fifth NSD

Joy Industries; producers of Joy Daddy Bitters and Joy Ointment, has donated equipment, branded T-shirts and a cash of GH¢ 10, 000 cedis towards the fifth edition of National Sanitation Day (NSD).

The donation, which was presented to Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, include 15 wheelbarrows, 15 rakes, 15 shovels, 25 pairs of wellington boots, 1,000 pieces of nose masks, 1,000 pieces of gloves and 3,000 pieces of the branded NSD.

In addition, Joy Industries is running a five- day commercial advertisement on radio towards the sanitation day, being hosted by the Eastern Region free of charge.

The sector Minister Alhaji Collins Dauda received the items.

At a ceremony, Chief Executive Officer, of Joy Industries, Mr Manfred Tetteh said, the company decided to support the ministry to ensure that the exercise become a success and to help maintain a culture of hygiene and cleanliness.

Ahaji Dauda said, he was overwhelmed with the magnitude of the items, adding: “I knew corporate organisations would respond to my call for support but I never knew yours would be so gargantuan.”

He thanked the management of Joy Industries for the support.
