Journalists, security forces to vote on Dec. 1

The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has fixed the special voting exercise for December 1, 2016, ahead of the main election on December 7 polls.

The exercise is meant to help personnel from the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF), Ghana Police Service (GPS), Journalists and other relevant bodies, who will be performing key roles on the day of the main elections from being disenfranchised during balloting.

This was announced in Accra on Friday October 28, 2016 by the Chairperson of the EC, Mrs Charlotte Osei, at an Inter Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting.
