Ghana forward Joseph Paintsil says his hat-trick heroics for LA Galaxy will fuel his desire to make a strong impact with the Black Stars in their upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

Paintsil struck three times in a dazzling display against Sporting Kansas City, underlining his sharp form ahead of Ghana’s crucial fixtures.

Speaking after the game, the 26-year-old attacker said: “It will give me additional power to also go to the national team with these two games we have for the qualification of the World Cup. We just hope and wish we win our first game and just go through the World Cup.”
