Jomoro records 76 cases of cholera

The Elubo Health Centre has recorded 76 cases of cholera in the Jomoro District of the Western Region but there have been no deaths.

A statement signed by Mr. Samuel Nyarko, District Disease Control Officer, urged the communities to take precautionary measures in curbing the current outbreak.

Mr. Nyarko said the Elubo border had been the worse hit of the disease following its outbreak in the district in September this year.

He said prompt reporting at clinics by victims had prevented any deaths.
