Jomoro Assembly Exceeds Revenue Target

Half-Assini (W/R) The Jomoro District Assembly exceeded its revenue target for last year by 27.6 million cedis. The Assembly targeted a total revenue of 93.4 million cedis during the year but collected 121 million cedis. Mr. Ernest Beyelah, the District Chief Executive, made this known at the first meeting of the second session of the assembly at Half-Assini on Wednesday. He said the assembly had 936 million cedis as its share of the common fund last year and that it has been allocated 250 million cedis for the fourth quarter. He said the assembly spent 841 million cedis instead of an estimated expenditure of 896 million cedis.
