Job 600 shut down over fire incident

The Job 600 building which contains the offices of parliamentarians has been shut down following last night’s fire which ravaged the 10th floor of the 12-storey edifice.

The development has caused massive discomfort to members of the House as many of them are seen stranded and wondering about, Starr News’ Ibrahim Alhassan reports from parliament.

The leadership of parliament decided to shut down the facility after a meeting with the fire service over the fire outbreak.

The 10th floor which was gutted is currently being audited by the fire service.

It is unclear what caused the fire but sources within the fire service say it could be an electrical fault.
