Accra – Former US president Jimmy Carter is to visit West Africa to help raise international awareness of Guinea worm disease. Carter and his wife Rosalynn will arrive on Monday in the Togolese capital Lom? before travelling to Mali and then Ghana, where they will be joined by UN representatives.
