Jimmy Carter arrives in Accra

Accra, Feb.7, GNA – Former United States President Jimmy Carter arrived in Accra Tuesday morning for a week’s working visit during which he will visit projects being implemented by the 91Carter Centre’ in various parts of Ghana, including a guinea worm eradication programme. He is also billed to meet with President John Agyekum Kufuor and officials of the Ministry of Health.

At the airport to meet Mr Carter was the US Ambassador to Ghana, Ms Pamela Bridgewater.
