Reverend Father Ransford Titus- Glover, Parish Priest of St Ambrose Anglican Church at Dome in Accra, on Sunday described the resurrection of Jesus Christ as the greatest miracle.
He said: “It is the proof that Jesus is indeed the son of God. This is the foundation of our faith-the resurrection.”
Rev Fr Titus-Glover said in a homily that the resurrection of Christ seemed pure nonsense and the Apostles did not believe it, after His death on the cross like a criminal.
“This was the way Jesus died. And now it was rumoured that this same Jesus was alive and walking about. What kind of man is this?”
Rev Fr Titus-Glover said it is good for mankind to believe in the resurrection story, adding: “ Let us ask the risen Lord to continue to give us His peace, not what the world gives us, so that we live, move and enjoy in our country.”
