J.J. Appiah: God shall punish JJ Rawlings

The New Patriotic Party Member of Ablekuma North in the Greater Accra Region, Hon. Justice Joe Appiah has descended heavily on the former President of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings noting that God shall deal severally with Mr. Rawlings before the former dies.

Hon. Justice Joe Appiah made this statement in reaction to a statement attributed to the former President that his predecessor John Kufour monopolized corruption.

Mr. Rawlings was quoted as making the statement after he signed the book of condolence in honour of the late African icon, Nelson Mandela.

But speaking on Pluzz89.9 FM flagship show “Pluzz Today” hosted by Kwame Tutu, Hon. Joe Appiah described Mr. Jerry John Rawlings as the most corrupt in Ghana. He questioned the whereabouts of a certain account number 48.

Highlighting on that particular account, Hon. Justice Joe Appiah alleged that the account was established by Mr. Rawlings on behalf of Ghana and kept monies seized from people after his 1979 coup d’état.

Hon. J. J. Appiah described the Mills-Mahama administration as corruption endemic.
