J.B. Danquah’s ‘killers’ charged with murder

An Accra District Court has remanded the two alleged killers of MP, J.B. Danquah-Adu into police custody after they were discharged by an Accra High Court on 30 May, 2017.

The two, Daniel Asiedu and Vincent Bossu, have been charged with abetment of crime to commit murder and murder.

The prosecutor, DSP George Amega, told the court, the police have fresh evidence against the suspects hence their re-arrest and return to court.

The case was adjourned to 15 June.

The two persons stand accused for the killing the Abuakwa North MP at his residence at Shiashie on 9 February 2016.

They have pleaded not guilty.
