Ivorian President departs

Accra, Feb. 4, GNA – President Lauren Gbagbo of Cote d’Ivoire left Accra on Friday evening after a day’s working visit to Ghana. He was accompanied by a four-man delegation.

In an interview with the media, Mr. Kwabena Agyepong, Presidential Spokesman said the visit was mainly to discuss the political situation in Cote d’Ivoire, especially the on-coming elections in that country. President Gbagbo was seen off at the airport by President John Agyekum Kufuor.
