Ivorian Leader departs

Accra, Oct 19, GNA – Mr Laurant Gbagbo the Ivorian leader this evening left Accra after a day’s visit, during which he participated in talks to resolve the disagreement arising out of the implementation of the Accra Peace Accord.

The talks, which took place at Akosombo, were a follow-up to several peace discussions aimed at finding solutions to the disagreement that have arisen out of the power sharing agreement for Cote d’Ivoire, which was brokered in Accra.

At the Airport to see him off were President John Agyekum Kufuor, ECOWAS Chairman and Nana Akuffo Addo, Minster of Foreign Affairs.
