The Municipal Chief Executive of Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Hon Dominic Gyasi has eulogies the “Feed Ghana” initiative program by the gov’t as his biggest ever program or initiative that he has ever come across in this 4th Republic.
According to him, the Feed Ghana initiative have so many categories which will enhance and embrace farmer’s more to be well develop different skills in farming because the then old method of farming has been amend to ultra modern one’s where farmers are not going to use cutlasses, hoes and other stuff that they were using for farming.
He emphasized that, it hasn’t take long that the gov’t came to office but looking at the project’s that they have been initiating are going to help Ghanaians to reduce the unemployment rate especially more youth are going to be employ in the YEA Fire Service Assistant (FSAs), Community Police Assistant (CPAs) Community Health Care Assistant(CHCAs) and more.
He added to it that, all these initiatives contribute to Ghana’s Socio-Economic development and reduces unemployment rate.
He said, there’s no other opportunity or chance to embrace rather than this Feed Ghana Initiative Program.
This morning, during his interview with Nana Yaw Adinkra (Faya) on Faith FM Ghana Yie Die Political Morning Show, the MCE said that, the then Gov’t allocated 13 Million Ghana Cedis for the whole 4 years for the to the MMDCE’S of which only 6 Million was disbursed to the Assembly as compare to this NDC Gov’t headed H.E John Dramani Mahama who have allocated 19 Million Ghana Cedis for just 1 a year as Assembly’s budget and it will help them to work effectively and tediously to bring the Ghana that We All Want to Live.
According to him, we shouldn’t let our party affiliation or background be a problematic for us because we are all fighting to develop Western North Region of Sefwi Wiawso is the Capital and Ghana as well so we should all contribute to any thing that can lift the image of Sefwi Wiawso Municipal high than lifting our parties.
Finally, he concluded that, by the time that he will leave office, Sefwi Wiawso Municipal will have a Timber Village of which all the Timber Industries and also who ever uses wood for his his or her would come to the Timber Village and buy some and also it’s will reduce the price that is costly for those working in the Timber Industries and also generate income to the Assembly as well.
