Italy-based Ghanaian donates sports equipment

Cape Coast, Sept. 29 GNA – Mr Kweku Mensah, a Ghanaian domiciled in Italy has donated football equipment worth 22 million cedis to the two First Division Clubs of cape Coast as well as Old Stars Football Club also of Cape Coast

Venomous Vipers received 11 pairs of football boots and 12 footballs, Mysterious Dwarfs, five footballs while Old Stars received three footballs.

Mr Mensah said his donation to the clubs was his personal contribution to the Clubs to enable them improve n their performance. Mr Kweku Ackah Yensu, Chief Executive of Vipers received the items on behalf of the Clubs and thanked Mr Mensah for his kind and generous gesture.

He said he hopes other supporters both at home and abroad would follow the shinning example of the donor by contributing towards the development of the clubs to make them winsome sides.
