Italian Premier Matteo Renzi to address Ghana’s Parliament

Italian Prime minister Matteo Renzi will address Ghana’s parliament next week, Speaker of the House Doe Adjaho told members Tuesday.

The Italian premier is visiting Ghana to explore trade and investment opportunities in the West African country.

The visit was communicated to the Speaker by the Italian Ambassador to Ghana Laura Carpini.

The Speaker who was opening the 4th Meeting of the 4th Session of the 6th Parliament today said details of the premier’s visit will be provided in due course.

Mr. Renzi is currently on a tour to West Africa to strengthen ties between Africa and his country.
