Italian PM on a two-day visit to Ghana

The Italian Prime Minister Mr. Matteo Renzi is expected to land in Ghana today, Monday February 01 for a two-day working visit.

He will be holding bilateral talks with Ghana’s president John Mahama at the Flagstaff House as soon as he arrives after which a state dinner will be hosted in honour of him.

On Tuesday, Mr. Renzi will visit the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and later hold discussions with the Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Edward Doe Adjaho, the Majority and Minority Leaders.

Prime Minister Renzi will also address Parliament before departing Accra to Rome, an official communication from Ghana’s seat of government – the Flagstaff House – announced.

The visit follows President Mahama’s visit and meetings with Prime Minister Renzi and President Sergio Mattarella in July 2015.
