Italian Entrepreneur Killed In Ghana Ambush

An Italian entrepreneur in Ghana was on Monday shot dead after what seemed like an ambush. Paola Badalassi 49, is from Pontedera in Italy and moved to Ghana in April with her partner Lorenzo Donnini to operate a distribution office.

The 49 year old was shot at close range in the head when a bus she was traveling in from Asankragua to Accra was ambushed and robbed.

Paolo before her death was working with Herbalife, a global company that operates in the food sector, in Viareggio and had opened an agency for distribution on the Spintex road in Accra.

More to come soon…
