Italian Embassy in Ghana marks Republic Day

Ghana ItalyMs Laura Carpini, the Italian Ambassador to Ghana, has said that the Italian government is proud to partner Ghana to promote private sector development through the utilization of Italian technologies in equipment and machinery.

She said the approved projects were funded with the credit line granted by the Italian government in favour of Ghana in the framework of the cooperation for development.

According to her, it has been a very rewarding year for Ghanaian – Italian relations. “Our ties have become much stronger as proved by a series of visits and achievements in all sectors: an exchange of visits between the two Ministers of Foreign Affairs, the visit of the 30th Italian Naval Group, the very recent transfer of 10 million Euro credit facility of GPSDF, the success of the Ghana Country Presentation in Turin and Palermo, several commercial missions of Italian Companies to Ghana, the Week of Italian Culture In Accra, the signature of cooperation agreements between Ghana News Agency and AGI, and between our respective Fencing associations”.
