One time Executive Director of the School Feeding Program under the erstwhile NPP government, Dr. Amoako Tuffour, has taken a direct swipe at the Chairman for the Electoral Commission of Ghana, Dr. Afari-Gyan, for creating a monster out of our voting system.
According to Dr. Amoako, it would take the nation years to cleanse the gargantuan mess the administration of Dr. Afari-Gyan has created at the commission.
He added that one other condition needed to remedy Dr. Afari-Gyan’s mess is to wipe out the whole team he worked with and replace them with a new set of workers.
Giving his take on the Supreme Court issue, Dr. Amoako Tuffour urged the judges to be firm and acknowledge the fact that Ghanaians are ready to receive their final verdict on the NPP’s petition.
“They should have the courage to let the whole world know if either John Mahama or Akufo-Addo won the elections,” he said.
“I keep hearing the NDC talk about a possible re-run, but I believe that if that is to come to pass, there would be trouble in the nation”, he predicted.
