Irene Essel wins national best teacher award

Ho, Oct. 5 GNA – Ms. Irene Essel, 35, a teacher at Abeka Motorway One Junior High School (JHS) in the Greater Accra Region, is the 2009 National Best Teacher award winner.

Her prize is 60,000 Ghana Cedis for the building of a house. The first runner-up is Mr. Saaka Aminu, 51, of Larabanga District Assembly JHS in the Northern Region, and his prize is a-four wheel drive pick-up.

Mr. Raymond Quansah Justice, 31, from the Central region is the second runner-up and his prize is a salon car.
