Iran determined to promote ties with Ghana

TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iran is seriously determined to develop ties with Ghana considering Tehran’s economic diplomacy and attempts to increase economic cooperation with African countries, said Iran’s Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki.

Meeting with the Acting Foreign Minister of Ghana Chris Kpodo, Mottaki said supporting the two countries private sections and consulate facilities will aid promotion of trading and industry cooperation.

Chris Kpodo, for his part, asserted establishing bilateral and multilateral ties within the framework of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) is a positive approach and hoped the movement could be influential in economic relations of member countries.
