Investigate claims that Ghana has $200 Billion – AYC

The African Youth Command (AYC) on Wednesday appealed to President Kufuor to institute a commission to investigate claims that Ghana have some 200 Billion Dollars in the Oman Ghana Trust Holdings Bank Account overseas.

The Command recalls claims by Mr Gregg Fraizer in the Press that “Oman Ghana Monies is the legacy of two great Africans, Dr Kwame Nkrumah and Dr W. E. B. Dubois”

“To the AYC, the statement said, this draws eyebrows over the alleged existence of the Oman Ghana Monies”.

It said since three succeeding governments – from SMC One and SMC 2 through the late President Limann’s PNP administration up to NDC/PNDC era, the controversy about the claim had been unending till the death of Dr Ackah Blay Miezah, “the enigmatic creator of the Oman Ghana Trust Holdings”, the statement said”.

The Command also commended President J. A. Kufuor for the relative peace, social harmony and democratic culture in Ghana.

This was contained in a Press Release issued in Accra and signed by Dr F. W. A. Akuffo, President of AYC.
