Interim executive elected for Tree Farmers Association

Techiman (B/A) July 23, GNA- The Tree Farmers Association of Ghana has elected a nine-member interim executive at an extra-ordinary meeting at Techiman in Brong Ahafo. They are, Mr. Joseph Manu as chairman, Mrs. Margaret Asamoah, treasurer and Mr. Kwadwo Frempah, financial secretary.

The rest were Mr. Iddrisu Sardick, technical director, Mr. Solomon Oppong, organizing assistant and Mr. Ali Baba Ghana, deputy-organizing assistant.

Mr. Willy Stolz of GTZ urged the executive to acknowledge the task ahead of them and encourage members to unite and contribute to the re-afforestation programme. Mr. Manu pledged that the executive would give a good account of its stewardship and called for the support of all members.
