Three institutions in the Western Region on Tuesday donated 37 million cedis to the Accra Sports Stadium Disaster Relief Fund in Accra.They are the Western Regional Co-Ordinating Council (WRCC), (two million cedis), Takoradi Flour Mills, (10 million cedis) and West African Mills (25 million cedis).
Mr Emmanuel Assifuah, Accountant at the WRCC who made the presentation on behalf of the institutions said it was their widow’s mite to the relief of the injured and the bereaved families.Mr Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chief of Staff, who received the donations said the Board of Trustees of the Fund would be inaugurated next week.
