Inspect shoddy work on Kitase-Mamfe Road

Accra, June 11, GNA – Mr Kofi Afful, Chairman of the Okuapeman Drivers Union, has expressed concern about the spate of accidents on the 15-kilometre Kitase-Mamfe Road.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency in Accra, Mr Afful regretted that at least four private cars got involved in accidents on the road every week and attributed the unfortunate situation to shoddy work executed by the contractor who worked on the road. He appealed to the Ministry of Transportation to inspect the road and help find a solution to the problem before more precious lives were lost on the road.

Mr Afful advised drivers plying the Kitase-Mamfe road to be extra careful to reduce accidents to the minimum.
