Inmate dies at Nsawam Prisons

Information gathered by Class News indicate that an inmate of the Nsawam Prisons in the Eastern Region died on Sunday morning just before church service.

The circumstances of the inmate’s death are still unclear.

But some sources have speculated that it might have had something to do with the deplorable conditions in the facility.

Meanwhile, three lawyers have filed a suit praying the court to compel government to improve conditions in the country’s prisons.
