Inhabitants of Low Cost in Winneba undertake clean up exercise

Winneba (C/R), July 10, GNA – The inhabitants of Low Cost, a suburb of Winneba on Saturday undertook a three-hour clean up exercise to tidy the area. They weeded over-grown areas, disilted gutters, swept the surroundings and burnt refuse.

The Assemblyman for the area, Mr Robert Ekow Ghanni, addressing the people, who were mostly government workers, asked them to make the exercise a regular affair.

He said due to the isolated nature of the area, there was the need to ensure that all bushy areas were cleared to avoid creating haven for thieves. Mr Ghanni thanked the people for responding positively to his call for the exercise.
