Independence anniversary celebration marked in Nkawkaw

Nkawkaw, March 8, GNA- School children and members of voluntary organizations from the Kwahu West Municipality, undertook a march past to mark the country’s 51st Independence anniversary celebration at Nkawkaw.

Nana Kofi Kese, Municipal Chief Executive, took the salute and later read President John Agyekum Kufuor anniversary address. Schools which excel in the march past were presented with certificates.

St. Anthony Primary and Junior High School took the first position at the basic level while the best second cycle school award went to Nkawkaw Senior High School.
