Indecent language: NPP is far better than any party – Rev. Martey

The outgoing Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt. Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Martey says the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is far better than any other political party when it comes to the use of intemperate and indecent language in the media space.

According to him, he will praise the elephant fraternity for living above foul speeches some political parties guilty of.

The religious leader observed that NPP does not fall within indecent expressions in the media as compared to other political parties in the country.

Addressing the 16th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church on Monday, he added that it is only a corrupt society that the truth is termed as controversial, saying the church will not be perturbed if they are been tagged controversial.

On his part, the Flagbearer of the NPP Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo described the Presbyterian Church “as a progressive partner in the project of the self-confident and prosperous Ghana that my Party seeks to build.”
