Iñaki Williams Ruled Out of Upcoming Matches With Adductor Injury

Athletic Bilbao and Ghana forward Iñaki Williams has been sidelined after sustaining an injury to his right leg, medical reports have confirmed.

The club announced that the 30-year-old suffered damage to his adductor muscles, ruling him out of action for the coming weeks. The extent of his recovery period is yet to be determined, but he will miss several upcoming fixtures for both club and country.

Williams, who has been in fine form this season for Athletic Bilbao and the Ghana national team, will undergo further assessments to determine the full extent of the injury.

His absence comes as a blow to both Athletic and the Black Stars, with the forward playing a crucial role in recent months.

Williams’ consistency and durability have long been admired, he famously went over six years without missing a La Liga match, but this setback now forces him to take an unwanted spell on the sidelines.
