Impeachment of Afoko and Kwabena Agyepong flawed

After strenuous efforts by unseen hands to impeach Mr. Paul AFoko and Mr. Kwabena Adjei Adjepong, the National Chairman and the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party, these are the results.

In Northern region, TEN (10) party executives voted in favour of Mr. Kwabena Adjepong and Mr. Paul Afoko but SIX (6) people agreed to impeach them.

In Brong Ahafo region, TWENTY (20) people voted in favour of Mr.Paul Afoko and MR. Kwabena Adjepong but SEVENTEEN (17) people said they should be impeached.

In the central region, after a lot of vote buying by Kennedy Adjepong and John Boadu, the impeachment was passed.

There was a mass walkout in the Ashanti, Greater Accra, Volta and the Eastern regions when the orchestrators of the impeachment announced their intentions.

It is on record that in the Volta region, the schemers of the impeachment were asked to consult the National Council before embarking on such a dangerous process that can unmake the Party in the near future.

The Upper East and Upper West regions are yet to convene their meetings.

Mr. FF Antoh, the National 3rd Vice of the New Patriotic Party on Peace FM midday news, condemned the action by unseen hands to impeach Mr. Paul Afoko and Mr. Kwabena Adjei Adjepong.

In a nutshell, the party faithful who voted for the National Chairman and the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party still have confidence in them.
