Immigration Service stops collection of passport application forms

Accra, Sept 9, GNA – Ghana Immigration Service announced on Thursday that it has stopped collecting passport application forms until the situation at the Passport Office is rectified.

A statement issued by Mr W. K. Aboah, Director of Immigration, in Accra called for co-operation from applicants.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday announced that it has suspended the issuance of passports because the computer at the Passport Office has developed a fault. It said technicians were working on it.
