IMANI 2nd most influential think tank in Sub-Saharan Africa

IMANI Ghana has been ranked as the second most influential Policy Think Tank in sub-Saharan Africa, according to the 2014 Global Go To Think Tank Index Report released by the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program (TTCSP) at the University of Pennsylvania

IMANI came second to Kenya’s Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA).

TTCSP is a non-profit program established at the Foreign Policy Research Institute in 1989.

It researches, catalogues, and maintains a comprehensive database of approximately 6,300 think tanks from 206 countries and territories.

TTCSP also examines evolving role and character of public policy research organisations, whole focusing on collecting data and conducting research on think tank trends and the role they play as civil society actors in the policy making progress.

IMANI Ghana was also ranked among other categories as follows:

Top Think Tanks Worldwide (Non-U.S.)—out of 100 ranked globally Position: 68.

IMANI Center for Policy and Education (Ghana) Top Think Tanks Worldwide (U.S. and non-U.S.) out of 150 ranked globally Position-109.

IMANI Center for Policy and Education (Ghana) Top Domestic Economic Policy Think Tanks (World Wide) out of 80 ranked globally Position: 58.
