I’m scared of flying – Kwame Akuffo

Renowned lawyer Kwame Akuffo has revealed that his greatest fear in life is flying on the plane.

According to him, everyone around him is aware of his phobia for flights.

Speaking to Bola Ray on Starr Chat Wednesday, the sharp dressing legal practitioner said although he has traveled on a plane before, it is not an experience he looks forward to.

“I don’t have a passport, I don’t fly. I am afraid of flying. I don’t understand the mindset of a plane to get in there, the last time I flew was in 2008. Everyone around me knows I don’t like flying. I have even lost my passport,” he stated.

Akuffo who was a member of the opposition NPP’s legal team during the 2012 election petition case said he is grateful that the trial gave him the opportunity to serve Ghana.

He added also that his desire to become a member of parliament in 2016 on the ticket of the NPP was frustrated by the creeping culture where delegates of political parties expect freebies from candidates before voting for them at primaries.
