I’m not in bed with government – Kyei Mensah-Bonsu

The Minority Leader in Parliament, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu has denied allegations that he is in bed with the ruling National Democratic Congress government.

Some persons in the Minority Leader’s Suame Constituency in the Ashanti Region claim their MP is not pulling up his weight simply because he is in bed with the ruling government.

However, the MP said he has never been to the Flagstaff House ever since President John Mahama assumed office as the President of Ghana. “I have never called the President before,” Kyei Mensah Bonsu affirmed.

He told Atinka AM Drive hosted by Kwame Adinkra that even though the First Lady, Mrs. Lordina Mahama, attends the same church with him, there has never been an occasion that he has had a personal interaction with the first family.

He explained that, he only meets the President in Parliament during official assignments and as well as state functions.
