Former Boss of the Electoral Commission, Dr. Kwadwo Afari Gyan, has debunked rumours that he is dead.
Rumours were rife on social media over the weekend that the tough-talking former EC boss had passed on.
However, speaking on Atinka AM Drive with Kwame Adinkra Monday, Dr. Afari Gyan said he was not dead and that he was alive and kicking. He added that he was in his hometown in the Brong Ahafo Region engaging in farming.
The rumour was so serious that some radio stations made an announcement on air. There was even a press statement on social media, confirming the supposed death.
The statement was purportedly signed by a Family head. It communicated that the funeral rights of their fallen family member would be announced soon.
