I’m not afraid of death – Aseidu Nketia tells attackers

The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has warned his attackers to stop threatening his life adding that he is not afraid of death.

The General Secretary of the opposition NDC was reportedly attacked by some unknown gunmen at Suhum in the Eastern region. The attackers, who were in a Toyota Tundra vehicle, harassed the NDC key player who was travelling with other passengers in his car.

Speaking to Ekourba Gyasi on Atinka AM Drive, General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia explained that the attackers did not ask for anything during the attack.

According to him, his attackers could be persons who may be harbouring hatred against him.

“I have not wronged anyone and I am not afraid of death, if that was their objective then they have failed”, he added.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has reportedly scheduled an emergency National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting on Tuesday to discuss issues of security across the country.
