I’m ever ready to respond to allegations against Afoko – Lawyer

A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region and spokesperson of the embattled National Chairman of the party, Nana Yaw Osei has said he is ever ready to respond to every single allegation leveled against his boss.

According to him, as spokesperson for Mr. Paul Afoko, he will not sit aloof for people with ill-motives including the acting National Chairman of the party Freddie Blay to peddle falsehood about him

“With all due respect even if President Akufo-Addo comments on the matter unfairly regarding Mr. Afoko, I will respond to it”, the private legal practitioner spoke on Kumasi-based Abusua FM morning show hosted by Kwame Adinkra.

“I will not keep mute for people like Freddie Blay and others who think like him to go free”, he fumed.

The acting National Chairman Freddie Blay is reported to have said, the comeback of Mr. Paul Afoko and other suspended party executives of the will mean nothing for the party’s victory in any election.

According to the spokesperson of the embattled National Chairman, Nana Yaw Osei, Mr. Freddie Blay must concentrate on his job as Board Chairman of Ghana National Petroleum Cooperation (GNPC) and should not interfere in issues regarding the embattled National Chairman.

The NPP suspended its 2nd Vice Chairman, Sammy Crabbe, alongside Mr. Agyapong in 2015, after they were accused of publicly rebelling against the party’s decision to indefinitely suspend its National Chairman, Paul Afoko upon recommendations from its disciplinary committee.
