Illegal miner remanded for causing harm

An illegal miner accused of causing harm has been remanded into prison custody by a Kumasi Circuit Court, presided over by Mr D.W.P Amedior.

Isaac Boakye alias Mystical, 21, is said to have injured his uncle, Kwadwo Antwi, in the eye, following a misunderstanding that ensued between them.

He pleaded not guilty to the offence and would make his next appearance on Monday, July 28. Superintendant of Police Regina Addo-Yobo said the incident happened on June 28, at about 1740 hours, at Pakyi-Number One, in the Amansie West District.
