I’ll take Tema west to the Promised Land – Ampofo

Mr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, Tema West Parliamentary Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has promised to give the Constituency the desired leadership if given the electoral nod.

Mr Ampofo who gave the promise when he addressed members and supporters of the party at a rally organised in his honour at Klagon, near Ashaiman, assured the electorate that like Moses of old, “I have come to lead you from the wilderness to the Promised Land, and that I am going to be the Member of Parliament (MP) for the people.”

The NDC Parliamentary Candidate who is also the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development said he would initiate development projects that would transform the lives of the residents.

He, therefore, urged the constituents to give him their mandate to enable him to fulfill his promise.

To improve upon the security situation within the community, Mr Ampofo promised to provide Klagon with 100 street lights and urged the assemblyman to assess areas where the lights would be fixed.

Mr Alfred Abayateye, MP for Sege, who also addressed the rally, asked the people to take the forthcoming registration exercise seriously, and vote for the NDC and its parliamentary candidate come December.

Mr Ubor Henry Bishop, Assemblyman for Klagon, on behalf of the people, thanked Mr Ampofo for the visit, and assured him of the mandate of the constituents.
