I’ll soon be appointed into government – Nana Akomea

The Communications Director of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Akomea is calling on his party supporters and friends to exercise restraint as the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo continues to name his ministers.

A section of the public is questioning why the former lawmaker and party’s spokesperson known for always defending the party during opposition has been left out after names of 36 ministers designates were announced by the President. They believe he can add his expertise to one of the newly created ministries if appointed.

But in a Facebook post, he assured that the President will announce his nomination when he is ready. ‘I have seen a few posts on social media wondering about what role l might play in this new promising npp government.

I am truly touched by all these sentiments from all of you my good friends (and from some not so good friends as well) I assure all of you that the president has graciously discussed with me a role he is keen to see me play in his government.

When he is ready, the president will announce it like he is doing for other roles. I thank all of you ladies and gentlemen so much,’ Nana Akomea said.
