I’ll miss my confidant – Dr. Bawumia pays tribute to late Kwabena Boadu

The Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has paid tribute to his former press aide, Kwabena Boadu who died a few weeks to last year’s general elections, describing him as a sharp and astute young man.

Dr. Bawumia speaking at the final funeral rites of his former aide at the State House on Saturday February 4 indicated that he has lost a brother a trusted friend.

“Kwabena Boadu was not only my press aide; he became my friend, my political advisor, my strategist, my speech writer, my confidant and my younger brother. He did so much but always shunned the lime light, that was Kwabena for you”.

On November 24, 2016, the 30 year old Kwabena Boadu was found dead in his hotel room in Wa, the Upper West regional capital in the run-up to the general elections. It is believed he died from electrocution in his hotel room.
